Melissa started with us back when we only had a handful of staff nearly 18 years ago. Melissa originally started out as our evening assistant, and quickly moved on to inventory clerk, to a (pending) veterinary technician, and overnight supervisor. She currently is enrolled to become an RVT in the future.

Melissa enjoys and looks forward to the outdoors, particularly the far north where her cottage is. A 9 hour drive from Barrie! There she enjoys unplugging, reading, fishing and the outdoors. Melissa currently sits on the board for the GAAP, as she enjoys volunteering, and organizing the AVH mission trips to northern Ontario, Guatemala, and Honduras. Melissa is a very active participant as she helps design most of the AVH fundraisers at our hospital.
