Jocelyne

Jocelyne is one of our lovely rehab technicians at Allandale Veterinary Hospital. She embarked on her vet tech journey at Seneca College, graduating from the veterinary technician program in 2019. Her dedication and hard work paid off as she achieved her RVT status later that same year. Throughout her time at Seneca, Jocelyne excelled in varsity soccer, showcasing her passion for the competitive sport that she has enjoyed since childhood. Jocelyne also had the privilege of forming a deep connection with one of the shelter dogs during her time at Seneca, ultimately deciding to adopt him. Her maltese mix, “Mocha”, brings her great joy through bonding on their short walks, sun tanning, and lazy cuddle days. Through this experience she gained a new perspective and appreciation for dogs in need, and it inspired her to pursue a path to gain more knowledge to help these pets in various ways. Her commitment to this cause led her to the completion of the Companion Animal Physical Rehab program at Northern College, and becoming a Certified Canine Rehab Practitioner through the University of Tennessee. Jocelyne finds joy in maintaining an active lifestyle by engaging in various sports, hitting the gym, and practicing Pilates. During her free time, she enjoys watching sports, learning about skincare and makeup, exploring new destinations through travel, and embracing her love of music by going to live concerts. Jocelyne feels thankful to be a part of the rehabilitation program at AVH where she finds it incredibly fulfilling to be part of the remarkable improvements in our beloved pet’s lives.
