L.A. was the first Irish Red and White Setter in all of Canada to earn both the Companion Dog Degree and the Companion Dog Excellent Degree.
She was awarded the "Dogs In Canada" top obedience dog award for her breed in 2000 and 2001. L.A. was an obedience demonstration dog for many years; she taught, comforted and entertained many people in class and at visitations at veterans hospitals and long term care facilities. She lived and loved well. As all good dogs do.
She was loved by many. As all good dogs are.
She was my partner, my teacher and my friend. I, along with many others, will miss her terribly. Laura
