| Lisa Registered Veterinary Technician |
Lisa is our head Registered Veterinary Technician and has been an Allandale team leader since graduating from St. Clair College in 1994. In addition to her responsibilities as team leader and technician, Lisa schedules her team,
prepares our quarterly newsletter, maintains our website, and helps organize
extracurricular activities like our open house, pet fair's and client education seminars and golf tournaments.
In spring, 2001, she successfully completed courses in dental radiography and is a qualified Level One American Veterinary Dental Technician, and has just received her Veterinay Technician Specialty (VTS) in Anesthesia, as she has a keen interest in small animal anesthesia.
A career highlight was travelling to Jamaica and working for a week at the Animal House a non kill shelter located in the Blue Mountains outside of Ocho Rios. Lisa enjoys her free time with her daughter, Berlynn who is now almost 8 years old!. Together they have an orange tabby named "Opie" who behaves like a dog! Lisa loves travelling, reading, golfing, gardening, decorating, baking, shopping! An spare time Lisa has, you can find her at one of the local resorts skiing, or writing anesthesia related articles for TECHNEWS- the provincial journal for Veterinary Technicians.
