Welcome to our Canine rehabilitation page. We are now pleased to offer Hydrotherapy and rehabilitation to our beloved patients. Each patient is different and may not be suited to a certain activity, which is why all programs are overseen by a veterinarian and veterinary assistant who tailor a program specific to your pet's condition.


Conditions that could benefit from rehabilitation and/or hydrotherapy:


* Muscle, Tendon, Ligament injuries
* Neurological diseases
* Arthritic patients
* Obesity
* Orthopedic conditions, pre and post op
* Atheletes: agility, flyball, etc.

Our water treadmill


Great low impact activity in the form of an underwater treadmill. Whether you pet is recovering from surgery, has arthritis, needs to lose weight, or just needs some exercise, this may be the activity for your pet.

Weight loss/Exercise package: consists of 2-3 sessions for 6 weeks, along with 20 min in water treadmill, and a consultation.
Surgical/Therapeutic package: 2 sessions week for 6 weeks, 20 min in treadmill includes exercises to go home with, weekly evaluations, physical exam.

If you are not interested in a package we has indivudual sessions available as well. Hydrotherapy is the controlled use of buoyancy and resistance of water for therapeutic reasons. The weightlessness of the water relieves the pressure on the joints and allows circulation of blood and causes muscles to relax.

Rehabilitation is a combination of modalities that can be used to help your pets get their strength back and help put their best paw forward.


Modalities that are currently available:


- rehab floor exercises

- in clinic exercises using cavaletties, balance boards, and pilates balls

-given exercises to do at home

We also provide neuromuscular electrostimulation (NMES) to help build back muscle.
