| | | Click Image For Related Information | | | Dr. Patricia Lechten | Dr. Lechten earned her Bachelor of Science – Honours Agriculture, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri. She then practised in Las Vegas for three years and in Toronto for one year. Dr. Lechten came to Allandale in October, 1989, and became a partner in the Small Animal Division in January, 1998. Dr. Lechten has demonstrated her keen interest in all companion animals but has a special interest in canine reproduction. Dr. Lechten lives in the area with her husband, Mike, and their son Ryan. They share their home with their cat Cosmo; a Bassett Hound named Carling, and a Border Terrier named Henry, and their newest addition Holly - yes another border terrier! She also enjoys reading, travelling and baking. The staff especially enjoys her banana chocolate chip muffins. | | Click Image For Related Information | | | Dr. Paul Neilan | Dr. Neilan graduated from OVC, Guelph, in 1996 and came to work
at Allandale in May of that same year. He enjoys the variety of
things he encounters each day but has a special interest in rodents
and pocket pets. Dr. Neilan lives in Barrie with his wife, Diane, and their daughters Katelynn and Samantha! (Dr. Neilan has photos at the
ready.) The family pets are Maggie and Diego, both cats.
Dr. Neilan enjoys basketball, hiking, reading and cheering for England's
soccer teams and taking family trips! | | Click Image For Related Information | | | Dr. Anne Paquette | Dr. Anne Paquette grew up in Sudbury, Ontario, and graduated from Laurentian University with a BA in geography, with aspiriations of becoming a lawyer. Goals changed when Dr. Paquette acquired her dog and veterinary medicine became her primary interest.
Dr. Paquette graduated from OVC in Guelph in the spring of 2002 and came to Allandale at that time. She has three Cavalier King Charles Spaniels: Finnigan, Rufus, and Libby. Dr. Paquette enjoys taking "Parker" her son out on shopping sprees, but will be busy as she
has just had her second child "Grace" a healthy baby girl.
Dr. Bonnie Wesley graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College and has been practicing small animal medicine since 2001. Dr. Wesley joined our team as our fourth small animal veterinarian. She lives with her three collies "Alaibi", "Annie", "Ceileigh" and "Chi Chi" the siamese cat, along with her husband, Bart and son "Joey". In her spare time Dr. Wesley enjoys camping, going to the gym, playing ultimate frisbee and crafting. She has taken stained glass lessons and pottery lessons. Dr. Janyk Laferriere was born and raised in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. She attended the university of Guelph where she earned a BSc. degree in 2003. In 2006 she graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College. Returning home she practiced as a mixed animal veterinarian. She found her niche of small animal medicine and decided to strictly focus on it. Dr. Laferriere joined the veterinary team here at Allandale in June 2007.She is fluent in both French and English and would be happy to provide veterinary care in either language! She now lives in Newmarket with her husband Shawn, their lovebird "Oscar" and their cat "Andie". In her spare time Dr. Laferriere enjoys reading, gardening, scrapbooking and playing the piano. |
